The land where Briarwood now exists was originally farmland owned by Mike Boychuk. Boychuk Drive, which forms the western boundary of Briarwood and bears his name. Home construction began in Briarwood in 1988 and reached its peak between 1996 and 2001.
Housing consists of mostly single-family homes, but a great selection of townhomes are available as well.
Briarwood Park connects to the area's manufactured lake. Residents enjoy various amenities like baseball, basketball and soccer facilities. The park features playgrounds, generous lawn spaces, a children's splash park, and paved pathways that provide views of green space and lead the way to the lake.
Briarwood Swale is one of Saskatchewan's largest municipal parks offering nearly twenty-one acres of beautiful wilderness in an urban setting. Neighbouring Wildwood Golf Course is a pitching wedge away.
Located at the southeast end of Saskatoon, with easy access to Circle Drive, you're just minutes from the University of Saskatchewan campus and downtown Saskatoon.
